Personally, I think he’s right, regardless of my thoughts about him as a man. This “giving it back to the left” thing is just dragging us into the muck. I’m starting to think American discourse won’t recover, and “they started it” isn’t an acceptable excuse. I think people of either side getting worked up about inconsequential comments just reveals them as giant babies, actually, and I’d rather I could say the whining was their deal and not ours.
