I’d say the election of Rep Lewis is a tragedy.
It reminds me too much of what happened in the 1930s, 40s and 50s in this country when thousands of people of color were murdered without impunity simply because their lives were thought to be cheap.

A tragedy, yes. But, to have the media and race baiting Al Sharpton fanning the flames of racism and pouring more gasoline on the fire is wrong!
Undoubtedly tragic but a crime? I don’t know. The more I read the more dubious I am that anybody could prove that Zimmerman committed a crime.
Golly, I thought this was true about non-blacks! Blacks seem to get away with violence nowadays.
Regarding this case, the biased PC-mentality media is showing pictures of the black guy when he was a child, about 11, to garner sympathy. Reality is that he was a 6'3 punk. They also don't report that he jumped from behind and overpowered the hispanic 5'2 Zimmerman guy and was beating him senseless.
When police interviewed Zimmerman, they took note of the bloody back of his head (requiring stitches), grass stains on his back (from being held down on the ground as the black punk was on top of him), and the trauma on his face from the beating. If you're put in that situation you have to worry about losing consciousness and perhaps being killed - I would have shot the black punk too.
There. I fixed it.
