This person has forgotten the order of jihad. You commit your terrible deed, then you die. He seems to believe you can be a martyr without one part of the action. The police should help him with his education.

He'll turn
himself in? Excuse me? And they're just going to sit around munching on crumpets and sipping tea until he does?
three cops injured in the raid on his home? They've been following him "for years?"
Inspector Cluseau is, apparently, alive and well.

The minister says police want to take him alive. He killed 3 kids. (and wounded 3 policemen, according to the article).
Why do they "want to take him alive"?
By the way, I clicked the link you provided and finally found the story but did not find the phrase, that the police wanted to "take him alive". Was that from a different source or did I miss it in the linked article?

I thought these murders sounded like a Moslem killing North Africans (possibly also Moslem) serving in the French military, and then attacking a Jewish school. But no, it just had to be white, right-wing extremists.

Germany's
Spiegel Online identifies the alleged shooter as Mohammed M. It normal in German news not to give the family name in press reports. He is a french national of Algerian descent.
He was sentanced to 3 years in prison in Kandahar for setting bombs. During a Taliban attack in 2008 he managed to escape.
The link above is to the Spiegel Online news ticker on this story.

The POS shot two cops at his house this am. Hope they take him out and deny him his forum of hate in future judicial hearings.

Aw, c'mon, folks! He's just a disadvantaged youth. He's a poor, helpless, pitiful victim of society, and anyway, those mean Zionists made him do it.
Mossad was probably behind it.

This guy is a trained killer, a professional. His cool demeanor and unrushed, methodical killing style showed us that. It is no surprise he has no wish to martyr himself. He knows France doesn’t execute anyone. He can milk as much political theater as possible out of his trial, and one day look to be released in exchange for Alegerian kidnappers of a French solider.

Real brave guy against defenseless victims.
Not so brave any other way.
