That is a fascinating re-read (I've read it many times before: Every time this issue comes up, which has been a lot with the OWS punks), but it does not have the force of law. Just try and get somebody prosecuted for any part of that.

The SCOTUS ruled a long time ago that the Constitution prohibits anti-flag-desecration laws. Why do you suppose there is an occasional push in Congress to pass a Flag Desecration Constitutional Amendment? It's to overrule the SCOTUS.

Congress passes pretend laws and resolutions all the time that won't ever be enforced. They do that as sops to the masses. This thing you posted is an example of that.

I just did a search on carter flag, clinton, Reagan, Bush flag , turned up nothing. But, put in Obama’s name, yikes!!! I put in Sarah Palins name, I like that license plate...lol
