Rush Limbaugh has rejected an advertisers apparent attempt to reunite with his show after the company initially dropped its ads from the program following his remarks about contraception advocate Sandra Fluke.
The company, Sleep Train, calls itself the No. 1 Bedding Specialist on the West Coast, and most recognized mattress retailer in the region.
In an email to Sleep Train President Dale Carlsen (obtained by The Blaze), a representative of the show says that Limbaugh personally considered the companys request, but denied it considering its public comments following the controversy.
Thank you for your requests last week and this week to restart your voiced endorsement in local markets of The Rush Limbaugh Show, the email begins. Rush received your requests personally.
Unfortunately, your public comments were not well received by our audience, and did not accurately portray either Rush Limbaughs character or the intent of his remarks. Thus, we regret to inform you that Rush will be unable to endorse Sleep Train in the future.
Rush appreciates your long friendship and your past support, and we wish you good luck in the future.

Good on Rush; glad to see he’s got the cojones to stand up to politically-motivated bullying.
Sleep Train is not just any company. Years ago, a young little known Rush needed a bed and Sleep Train desperately needed sales; Rush bought a bed and convinced them to advertise on his show. The rest is history. Rush made it big, so did Sleep Train. When they dropped him them made personal comments about Rush. This relationship is OVER.

I've been wondering about this too. For one, I noticed that Hannity, who has always done live advertisements for proflowers, switched to 1800flowers as of about Thursday. I also noticed that Glenn Beck has more than doubled the number of advertisements for Glenn Beck TV during Rush's show.
Larry Birnbaum was a caller into Rush's show yesterday, during which call the two of them let the cat out of the bag: Birnbaum's company, Newcandescent, is one of Rush's new advertisers. Link to newcandescent website. Can't wait to hear all the new advertisements and support the new sponsors.
Fluke you, Sleep Train, and all your cowardly little corporate buddies too!
ROFL!!
