I never thought I’d be defending Assad. He has long been our enemy. But, unfortunately, the “rebel fighters” are even worse than he is.

And Assad isn’t shelling the city just because he enjoys doing it. He’s doing so because it is full of “rebel fighters,” who want to overthrow the government and install something even worse.

Are these jerks happy about what was brought about in Libya, in the name of “humanitarianism”? I notice that they’re not talking too much about it, or about the Arab spring generally.

“Unexpected.”

The devastation there is significant. Part of Homs is completely destroyed and I am concerned to know what has happened to the people who live in that part of the city

Translation: "Assad didn't leave enough women and children for us to rape or to trade sex for food.
