I hope this shows that Newt is moving in for the kill and actually executing a strategy he's thought out. Little Barry the narcissist will go nuts when you make fun of him.
If Newt does it consistently, it'll get the whole Barry Brigade to target Newt and no one but Newt. That, in turn, will have both Bishop Romney and Lawyer Rickey playing catchup to try and look like someone Barry is worried about running against but it'll be crystal clear who really gets under Little Barry's skin and can defeat him in November. That might not put Newt in the lead but it would make it clear that a lot of those those who don't support Newt have an agenda other than defeating Barry. And there are a lot of people who are more worried about retaining control of the Vichy Republican party than they are about defeating Barry, that's for sure.
The Bishop Romneycrats think they can take charge of the Vichy party if Romney is the candidate, and others who don't want Romney running the party and think better an easy to control "go along to get along guy" like Lawyer Rickey than a dedicated Conservative like Newt. Right now, it's pretty clear that defeating Barry isn't the primary reason a lot of those not backing Newt are working so hard. They want control of the Vichy party a lot more than they want to defeat Barry. It's business as usual for the Bishop Romney crowd and for a whole lot of the Santorum crowd as well.
