Not because he's not correct, but more because he seems to have a knack for undermining his own argument with some unfortunate term or use of language.
He made a brilliant political point yesterday documenting how this women was aware of the rules before enrolling in this particular college. Her goal was to change existing rules to conform to her agenda. He exposed her as anti-Catholic feminist activist trying to disguise herself as just a concerned female student looking out for her fellow students. She's a fraud. And he completely negated his logical cogent point by suggesting she video tape her sexual encounters and post them for our enjoyment. I could only shake my head.
Oh contraire, Rush is a master of the language, he knows EXACTLY what he is saying and the effect it will have on the discourse.
“suggesting she video tape her sexual encounters and post them for our enjoyment. I could only shake my head. “
Yup. I was shocked to hear him say that. Really a dumb thing to say at the end of that segment.
“he completely negated his logical cogent point by suggesting she video tape her sexual encounters and post them for our enjoyment. I could only shake my head. “
He is only wandering into the theater of the absurd. It is something I often do when challenged on my anti-abortion position by Pro-Choicers. I simply agree with them that abortion is a legal right and I won’t be happy until the law extends up to the age of legal majority for any children. When they realize that they are arguing with someone that is extolling abortion of 17 year old children they usually slink away rather quickly.
What I find “unfortunate” is the utter lack of understanding simple English terms and the twisting of them into a pejorative when it clearly is not warranted.
The woman is a slut and the term is correct. If she takes umbrage at the term, then she is the one who should change their ways, not Rush. Rush dared to utter the truth and say what the bulk of the thinking populace saw or heard in this self-serving display of Ms. Fluke’s (and I use the term “Ms.” lightly) had in their hearts and minds also.
Yea, that got me too. I could not believe that he said that.
