The good news I heard on the local radio after His Escellency’s speech today at UM was some student saying: the green thing sounds good but I am concerned about putting gas in my car TODAY.

Could the worm finally beginning to turn. IMO, hit people in the pocketbook enough and they eventually see the picture. Of course, His Excellency will probably propose some kind of program for the “poor” to get credits for their gasoline expenses.

This IS a bumper sticker issue--short and sweet.

That's why Obama is reacting so strongly to it--he KNOWS it is a "gut" issue that creates strong emotions, and people ACT on emotions much more quickly than "head" issues.

The Dems have EFFECTIVELY used "gut issues" to get people to vote for them--about time we took a page from their playbook!

Go NEWT!

Gen Y has been groomed to look at motor vehicles as a knife in Gaia’s belly. Hopefully reality will soon disabuse them of that lie. We have to end government schooling and soon.
