Even conservative economists don’t believe that you can make massive, immediate federal cuts without hurting growth, anemic as it is. This is a long term project. Krugman would have the government put the economic pedal to the metal and damn the consequences. Mitt doesn’t agree with that position. There is no similarity between Krugman and Romneys positions. Mitt is not much of a social conservative, but his economic positions are not much different than Gingrich’s or Santorum’s.

Which is a steaming pile of lies because Santorum and Gingrich both support spending cuts combined with tax cuts. And what "conservative economists" do you refer to who agree with Paul Krugman?
