Clinton cooked the books too, which Bush’s “tax breaks for the rich”, which was actually “tax breaks for everyone” was designed to remedy. And it did in fact work. The economy improved almost immediately as a result. The problem is that liberals see things through the filter of their own preferred perceptions. They’re blind to anything else, such as what actually works.

Obama has stated that his goal is "fairness," not increased tax revenue.

Apparently America would rather punish the rich than be solvent. I truly believe we're almost there if we aren't already.

Fact is that an "across the board" tax cut renders a progressive tax system even more progressive. Do the math, it's easy and you'll see.
