Voter ID card doesn’t cut it.
I want a 4473 style form and a NICS background check for every voter every time they vote. It’s acceptable for one Civil Right, it can be acceptable for another.

No. Voter ID is to keep honest people honest, and to make sure the dishonest don’t steal elections. Yep, it happens. Honest elections should be a primary concern in any place worthy of being called a republic.

Bull Puckey. Our voter ID law came into effect the year Obammy was elected. Now that things have settled it will be a lot tougher to steal an election.
Maybe that’s why Obama seems to be stalking Michigan.
I assume Lee considers it racist to ask any black person for ID when they purchase tobacco or alcohol, or practically any time a black person is asked to show ID. Lee is proof that liberals inhabit the low end of the intelligence spectrum.

Grief! I don’t have an issue with anyone voting. I do have an issue with those frauds and cheats voting more than once. If the latter is the reason the not-so-useful idiot Ms. Jackson-Lee is hissed off, too d@mnned bad.
I usually watch what I say very carefully...and I try to insult no one.However, with all deference to boxes of rocks, Shiela is right there on about the third shelf. How on earth does a person like that get elected to anything???
The only reason for opposition to Voter ID is to facilitate voter fraud. While I’m here I may as well say that as one born and raised in Texas, I don’t think the state will ever again see the likes of liberal but honorable Shirly Chisolm, there will never be a shortage of human garbage like Sheila Jackson Lee.
Obama claims he is a Hawaiian-American.
Now Jackson-lee claims he is an African-American.
Can’t they get it straight?

If the GOP was cheating as much as the democrats do now, the democrats would be screaming for voter ID.
They also make it out that it’s somehow impossible for minorities to get proper ID. I think that’s extremely offensive to assume such a false belief.
If this was true these people would be the first on the news every day saying there’s a conspiracy to not give minorities ID so they can vote.
The fact minorities do banking, get utilities turned on, buy alcohol, buy cigarettes, and vote in union votes, proves there is NO problem for minorities to get a valid ID to vote.
