I really hoped Newt would cinch it tonight but he hasn’t been on his game.
I think the ex-wife thing and Santorum’s pettiness threw him off.
But I still think he will win SC. This debate hasn’t helped.
I hope the voters didn’t see the debate as I did.
When Romney and Ron Paul look better than our two, it’s not good.
I guess it’s highly individual. To me, Romney looked more nervous and rattled than ever before, and Ron Paul looked older and more mentally fragile than ever before (except for his great slap down of Santorum). Santorum, to me, came across as bitchy and evasive, while Gingrich seemed like what he always is: confident, full of ideas, and willing to give honest specifics about his position.
I will grant that they all seemed pretty tired, but I guess that’s certainly reasonable.
