Santorum looks good on paper and since I read more of what he said on freerepublic than watch him on TV, I think he’s great. But he doesn’t look like a “go get ‘em” guy on TV and that’s a problem for him.

At this point, Marianna will make no difference. Most voters NOW are seeing this election in a very different light. We are in the fight of our lives here and the voters are intelligent enough to see that Newt Gingrich is the only one that can Lead America back to some sanity.

The women I know are all for NEWT, marianna be damned as a bitter EX, that's all. No wonder he separated from her, gall is her name.

Both Ricks should pull out - if they care more for our country than themselves -

Santorum’s “big” win in Iowa is moot - as democrats also get to vote in our Iowa caucuses, and they did - and they vote for the ones they think are weakest -

He keeps bragging about it - but inside, he knows this -

crazy Paul will probably run 3rd party. He’s too enamored of himself and his publicity...even the bad publicity, as he just sees it as stupid people he has to instruct. Romney knowingly lies through his teeth. Paul actually believes his own gibberish...

I think I’m gonna ignore Ron Paul the rest of the year.

All true but I would love for Santorum to get the credit for the win over Willard in IA.

I guess we will get that news about 8:15 AM Thurs..

Yup. Us old graybeards who remember Goldwater / Reagan years are looking for a Republican with starch in his shorts to get out there and beat the sh!t out of Obama and the media. One example:

Newt Gingrich to Juan Williams: Americans Want Paychecks, Not Foodstamps

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c1-22w2G7M

.

Gotta love the segment starting at 2:20 where 30 seconds later, Gingrich schools Juan Williams: "First of all Juan, the fact is..."

Imagine Gingrich responding to Obama in a debate: "First of all Barry, you're wrong..."

At this point Santorum is only in the race so that he can get several cable news 'contributor' gigs on cable tv

Much the same way Herman Cain had from the beginning

We've just cast our early ballots for Newt here in Florida

.

I’m telling you, most people say negative ads don’t work and I also believe they’re loathe to admit that an endorsement influenced their vote. There’s a stigma to saying you can be manipulated by negative ads or endorsements, which is like admitting you let someone else do your thinking for you. But I believe they both work.

These things aren’t said to pollsters much I gather:

“I love negative ads. It’s great to see everyone hating each other.”

“I didn’t decide until I saw the endorsement from XYZ. I’m not good at making decisions for myself so I like when someone comes along to help me.”

Agree. I’ve received several emails from Cain soliciting tickets to his really big, unconventional announcement. I think the tix prices have dropped with each email! And, did I mention he’ll also be having a book signing during his “announcement”?!
