Here is the money quote, supra, announcing that, despite the facts of the research, the conclusions were uncomfortable. Despite the truth of the research and findings, such studies impugn the nobility of a sacred, victim class.

They are saying that the intentions of this research were hurtful--in other words, that the researchers only did the study because they are racists who wanted to come up with some results that would offend black people.
