The labor force is shrinking, that is a fact. Many older people unemployed in their 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s, who would normally keep working, are giving up. This is fact, they are going from unemployment to SS.

Those facts are not in dispute. The notion that unemployment compensation factors into the calculation of the unemployment rate is utterly false. It's not even in dispute. (And people who repeat it embarrass conservatism in general).
