It helps them to know the truth while their contemplating their own situation. I have a friend who voted for Obama and supported him until recently. Now the reality of the economy is hitting his family and he doesn't like it. They can make up whatever numbers they want, but that doesn't put food in anyone’s mouth or money in anyone’s pocket.
