Ultimately people will decide on the basis of their own personal ‘numbers’. That is why it is important to point out the fallacy of what is on paper. It helps them to know the truth while their contemplating their own situation. I have a friend who voted for Obama and supported him until recently. Now the reality of the economy is hitting his family and he doesn't like it. They can make up whatever numbers they want, but that doesn't put food in anyone’s mouth or money in anyone’s pocket.

Ultimately people will decide on the basis of their own personal numbers. Exactly! They could say it was 5%, but if you're still looking, you won't believe them.
