He has a right to be pissed. She broke the vow. He is taking the action he deems appropriate. It’s their business - not a public opinion call.

If the guy cheats on his wife and she divorces him, he’s an ass.
If the woman cheats on the guy and he divorces her, he’s still the ass.
Perhaps we ought to leave it up to the guy as we’re not going through what he’s gone through, and hasn’t felt he’s been living a lie after being betrayed by the person he thought he knew. Maybe not be so hasty to label him an ass.
