Rep. Kevin Yoder (R-Kan.), in an interview published Monday, predicted that President Obama would narrowly win reelection next year but that Republicans would capture the Senate.

"If I had to predict, I would project that the president would narrowly win reelection, the House would stay the way it is and the Senate would go Republican," said Yoder, in an interview with the Kansas City Star.

Here’s the deal as I see it: sometime in the next three years, the real crap is going to hit the fan in the financial markets, especially the bond market. For those who doubt it will happen, look at how quickly the European bond markets went ape this year. It can and does happen quickly.

This is going to happen to the US now with any POTUS who does not make at least $500 to $1,000 billion in real cuts in the next term.

We know, a priori, that neither Obama nor Romney will make those cuts in the real spending. Therefore, I believe it is best to lay the disaster at the feet of a Democrat. Just as the GOP was stupid to put Der Ahnuld into California and not fix the real problems, it will be stupid to own the problems at a Democrat national level and not fix them.

Obama will lose in a landslide regardless who the GOP nominates. Americans aren’t stupid. The Kenyan is toast.

One more reason: Romney signed an “assault weapon” ban. He is on the record as a gun banner. Way too many “conservatives” seem willing to overlook this. I won’t. Ever. Everyone whom I inform of this fact here in Wyoming changes their mind, if they were in favor of Romney.

Romney will not win the general election, period. Gun activists like me will see to it that his record gets out there. Take away the RKBA vote and the GOP cannot win a general election for POTUS.

Americans aren’t stupid.

Please furnish evidence for this startling claim.

So that means that our little Republican primary voters will likely destroy the country they think they are guarding!

He is in what used to be ultra liberal Dennis Moore’s seat. He beat Dennis Moore’s wife in 2010 after a narrow defeat over the conservative GOP candidate in the primary.

The current GOP is the rear guard of the democratic party. The progressives completely infiltrated the GOP as they did every single institution in our society. When a cancer spreads it has no borders it does not cross. We need a badly needed purge in our society. Both parties need to be done away with.

I agree. Especially after our moron gets up in the first debate and tells everyone what a great human bean Barry Soetoro is and how he’d make a great two termer.

I disagree with Yoder, Obama will probably win comfortably..

It could happen, due to the same self-aggrandizing voters of 2008, and the Republican party's public relations fiascoes.

Unfortunately, I'll walk across broken glass to vote for the GOP nominee - anything to get the Obama's as far away from ruining (running) this country as possible.

You and me both. And another thing, I simply don't see Obama being viewed in any way as "likeable". Hell, I can't stand to listen to the bastard talk, with his nose stuck in the air like Mussolini. Now I could see people viewing BJ Clinton as likeable, but the Kenyan Marxist? I don't buy it.

Amen ! What the hell is this negative talk? So far in the history of United States, a president has not been elected when 70% feel that country is going in the wrong direction.

I don’t like Romney but let us not whine about it ! We could not make up our mind on a conservative candidate ! Romney with a VP ticket of Rubio/Ryan/ Jindal can easily win the election. Do you guys have any idea of swing states like PA, FL, VA? Obama is down so much in these states.

This is not the time to sit in home ! I hate to do this after the debacle in 2008 ! The difference is the economy !

The responsibility for the destruction of thd country will lie with the third party morons and those true believers who will sit it out if their candidate doesn’t get thd nomination. That way the kenyan is guaranteed a second term
