The dog ate my homework. It’s not my fault, they’re all against me. It’s a conspiracy!! Pass the popcorn.

RNC insiders rigging the system to get their butt boy Romney the nomination.

Wasn’t it the commies who said something like ... it doesn’t matter who votes... only who counts the votes?

Well, the insiders are counting the votes.

Guess you’ll be voting for one of the two smart guys then. Whom will you choose, Mitt or Wrong?

Exactly. Newt is not the smartest guy in the room, merely the loudest.

What utter incompetence to not get this done. But we know why, he never thought he’d be a contender so didn’t bother til last minute. Not smart.

You've always been a little to the left of center.

Who do you champion?

Just a little correction. Newt and Perry did submit the required amount of signatures(in fact more than 11,000). Then, the people doing the verification disqualified enough signatures so that neither had 10,000 left. Newt had 2000 signatures disqualified, and Perry had even more than that.

It's been reported that it was due to lack of addresses for Newt, don't know about Perry. No further details are known at this time. Whether these were largely from one region or dispersed over all districts, whether someone could have deliberately sabotaged the effort (as has been suggested) is unknown. Of course sabotage rarely happens(we hope).

The other candidates (Bachmann etc)did not even submit signatures. I don't know if they just decided not to submit signatures because they had less than 10,000, or some other reason.

The 2 people who qualified (Romney and Paul)have had previous attempts at running and no doubt knew to take advantage of the 15,000 rule. Since they submitted more than 15,000 signatures they were exempt from verification of things such as addresses, and their qualification is deemed rather than verified.(these rules apparently were well known in advance).

Thanks for the meaningless throwaway line.

It's really about money, or Newt's lack of it.
