Congress can remove any judge, but it goes for federal judges. States are in charge of state judges...Here in Michigan the supreme court judges are appointed and then after that they have to be voted in for another term...Thats the only reason we have a somewhat conservative State Supreme Court. They can be voted out...
We have an impeached judge in congress...Rep. Hastings. don't remember which state he is from..
