Her attack was a demagogic distortion plain and simple. Just vecause you refuse to withhold funds from candidates that support abortion, does not mean YOU support abortion. That is a falsehood known as guilt by association.
That’s a different issue. Both are true. Newt evaded the question and Bachmann demagogued her accusation.
