I like Perry more after tonight.

Would like to know who they would fill their administration with. If is is just recycling Bush people, Goldman Sachs, CFR that would be an issue.

I thought Pery nailed it with every answer he gave.

BTW Chris Wallace just said that Rick Perry was a big winner tonight!

Would like to know who they would fill their administration with...

The last non-Establishment president was Reagan. Unfortunately, he was coerced to put an Establishment pick for VP, GHWB, and appoint many more in his administration. That's one reason he wasn't able to end the Dept of Education.

Still, he accomplished SO much - and got the ball rolling.

Newt worked with him and then in the '90's, brought in the highest number of new members of the House in history - and they took over the house for the first time in 40 years.

He balanced the budget 4 years in a row - not done for decades before and never since.

He has said he will not keep ONE holdover from the current regime - all czars fired the first day, Ben Bernake = fired, etc., AND he has said he'd like Col. West for his VP and Bolton for his SOS, and I have an idea he will tap Sarah to use her expertise to spearhead the Drill Here, Drill now. These are the kind of people he will appoint - far from being members of the Establishment.

This is why the Establishment is so frightened. They know with 8 years of Pres. Newt and then a probable 8 more years of non- Establishment people, that they will all be swept into the dustbin of history.

“Would like to know who they would fill their administration with.”

Newt said he’d appoint John Bolton as Secretary of State Of course he took a lot of flak for that. Beyond that I haven’t heard any talk of who would be in the various candidate’s Administrations if elected.

You can expect at least some retreads regardless of who wins.

Newt mentioned he'd ask John Bolton to be Secretary of State if he'd reform it as Newt's outlined but just making that comment was suggested to be a violation of campaign law.
