I for one think Free Republic is long overdue for a Paul Purge (as was done with the Rudyites). The Paulbots are increasingly spamming threads as we near the Iowa caucuses, stifling a real discussion of the issues.

Dude.....I'm not a Paul supporter, but that is one sad statement. Sure, let's purge the Libertarians, the Paul supporters, Romney supporters and everyone else. FR will be a great echo chamber, like harvard and yale, where all you newbies can sing hymms and argue about Sarah Palin's shoe color. Really, if you aren't comfy with debate, try some other pass time......like reading Mein Kampf....

The Zot line that is crossed usually is repeated Trutherism, racism, threats, vulgar language, or promoting liberal causes or candidates. Not just for the sake of liking a certain person (unless they are trying to use the site to advertise for overt Liberals of course).

In the case of the Zot! on this thread, this was a long time coming for a truther who was warned many times, even by Jim himself.

"Free Republic is NOT a liberal debating society. We are conservative activists dedicated to defending our GOD-GIVEN rights, defending our constitution, defending our republic and defending our traditional American way of Life."

Speaking only for myself, I don't come here for debate but for the Conservative activism and the strongly pro-God stance. Where else on the web are there anything at all like FR's Prayer Threads? Free Republic is an inspirational website for me, rising above the din of CNN, Fox News, NBC, Google, Yahoo and other liberal organizations.
