Theyre actually Philistines, No, they are not. Palestine is a corruption of the word Philistine, but the "Palestinians" are Arabs who came to the region long after the Philistines were gone. They are not decendants of the ancient Philistines.

Around 100 A.D. the Roman Emperor Hadrian renamed Israel to Palestine, based on the Philistines, the old adversaries of the Jews to further infuriate them. The other people in Israel were various Gentiles. The Arab invasion did not come for centuries so there were no Muslims there.

The so-called ‘palestinians’ actually came from Jordan and Egypt.
This is why savvy people call them “Jordyptians.”
