No DVD.
Blu-Ray or don’t bother. I used to be a doubter but there is no comparison. Resolution is the advantage of 1080P, why put a low resolution video source into it? Refresh rate minimum is 120Hz. Everyone can see weakness of 60Hz refresh on live sports.

I hope by 'DVD', you mean Blu-ray. With a TV that size, you need to watch real HD, and DVD ain't it.

I think it's a fine choice if you can afford it. I have a 60" DLP, and will not upgrade to anything smaller. The reviews on that set look good. They make an 80" also. Enjoy.

Turn lose another $100 and pop for a Blu-ray player. With a screen that size, your eyes will thank you and you can rent the discs for less than $2 at Red Box.

A “DVD” TV?!? To buy this and not get a Blu Ray player would be a crime against humanity.

My brother just ordered the 60” version of this TV.
