Gingrich and I agree that SOME illegals will leave when we enforce the laws. That's why he plans to do so. But, again, this was not my point.

After we seal the borders and enforce the laws, perhaps as many as 10mm illegals will still chose to remain in the country outside the laws. Gingrich is the only candidate with a plan to address this. Actually, Gingrich is the only candidate who even HAS a comprehensive immigration plan.

Will he support making it a felony to hire and employ an illegal? Will he support massive fines on employers sufficient to cripple any business that hires and employs them? Will he support a ban on all government assistance for illegals? Because until it becomes prohibitively expensive and sufficiently criminalized to hire/employ illegals, they, (the employers), will all continue to use them thus encouraging the flood of illegal aliens. No matter what fences or patrols you set up, the lure of cheap labor for business and those jobs for the illegals will prompt them to try.

Make it impossible for them to work or derive sustenance here and they will self deport. Scorched earth for the illegals, this is war and we need to fight to win. Anything less is surrender to them and the eventual death of the American Republic, or I suppose you have stats to prove they are assimilating and becoming the long promised "new conservative base", we`ve been told of by the pro-amnesty crowd?

And while we`re at it, try giving 10% of the fines to anyone who snitches on the employer who is using illegals. I know I`ll drop dime in a heartbeat for 10% of the fines, I`d impose, per illegal!
