I’m afraid Occupy movement was the turning point.

Obama is hitting the body. Keep hitting the body.

He’s getting some of his supporters back.

Unfortunately, only Paul Ryan has called Obama out for his divisive
outrageous talk. Pitting one group against another.

He’s favored again at 52% on Intrade.
If the economy is showing signs of life next year, he may win comfortably.

I agree. That is why the early Chicago mob hit on Cain.

And your evidence that Cain is the only chance is? There is none, other than that you happen to like Cain.

No thanks. I don't want to trust a political novice who has to correct his misstatements and lack of knowledge all the time against the billion dollar experienced, polished machine Hussein will bring to the table. Cain is also rolling with Block, one of the buffoonish campaign mangers I've ever seen.

The Cain fantasy is just that, fantasy. His selling point is he could win blacks, but that is nonsense. Obama is going to win the black vote by the same margins as he did last time around. Black Republicans do not do any better than white Republicans in the black community - just ask Ken Blackwell, Lynn Swann, Michael Steele, Alan Keyes, etc, etc. Cain would lose in a landslide of such epic proportions it would probably cost us our House majority as well.

Flawed as he is, we're probably down to Newt for the only viable anti-Romney remaining with a realistic chance of winning in November 2012.

They will destroy Newt, just like they did in 1994/1995. And Newt quit like a whining baby.

If true then the next move for the Tea Party is pretty obvious.

Clear the backstabbing GOP RINOS out of our way by forming the American Conservative Party and running a Cain-Palin or Palin-Cain ticket next fall.

Romney will come in third and the Whigification of the GOP will commence. Then we can focus on taking out the Dems.

The economy will not improve with these crazy fiscal policies in place. Expect another downgrade to our credit rating.

Cyclical factors might make it seem like the economy is getting better, in spite of Obama’s policies. I hope not, but this is possible.

When you are above 50% in your disapproval and 75% wrong direction for the country, there is no way, incumbent can win.

Bingo. I am not paying attention to the naysayers. No one can be reelected in in that atmosphere. It will take massive economic improvement for a chance at reelection. It isn't necessarily easy, but this election is easily winnable with a decent campaign. Plus, in terms of electoral votes, he's in worse shape. Virginia, Florida are firmly Republican at this point, as are most other swing states. It is a huge uphill battle for the Democrats to hold power. Their positive numbers are almost entirely coming out of the northeast and west coast...all gimme blue states.

It isn’t getting better this time as the economic structure has changed due to globalism which has created great instability. Today’s uptick in the market will follow with a sell off next week.
