A number of men at Penn State turned there head when young people were being assaulted.
The football God, Paterno, was among the number of men.
The board fired the God after legal charges were filed as they considered the God, while he may not have done anything illegally, a huge negative for Penn State.
And then the problem that I have with all of this mess.....
Idiot students at Penn State protest, riot, and cause major damage protesting the firing of the God.
Parents, be aware that things are out of control at colleges, even those in the sticks of Pennsylvania, where the administration allows sexual abuse of minors, while they protect the image of the University and faculty, and the student body feels that it is right to riot, protesting the legal prosecution of the law and right of a board of trustees to salvage their good name.
Sad future for our kids if this all continues.....
And the God encouraged the protests, by not resigning, even though he knew the Board of Trustees was going to fire him.
If anyone doubts what the “national religion” is, just go to any little town or city on Friday nights during football season, drive through town, and you’ll see cars parked as far as the eye can see at the high schools and colleges; you’ll hear the infernal drums beating, the bands blasting, if you’re close enough to the football field, you’ll see the little dance troops gyrating their hips in simulated sexual movements, and the cheerleaders in sexy outfits, shaking their pom-poms, doing somersaults and screaming until they’re hoarse. Oh, and yeah, the men, old and young will be drooling over the girls and sometimes over the players.
It is an obsession; professional football is worse. Other sports are pretty much the same; just not as obsessive as football. Oh, I know, I know, it’s a “tradition”.
Is not Penn State an Ivy League college? I may be wrong but I think it is considered a very elite school. Two of my nephews graduated from there not long back and both work on Wall Street now, one an accountant and one an architect.
