Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, said pretty much the same thing: Israel is a staunch American ally. "Allies are people you work with, not things you deal with."
Seems like the GOP is making a conscientious effort to draw a sharp contrast to Obama on the Middle East and Israel in preparations for next year's election.
