“Anyone who thinks 2012 is going to be a cakewalk is deluding themselves.”
I strongly agree.
Obama has money. Lots of it. Union money, Wall Street money, etc.
Depsite his poor polling numbers, he has a strong plurality of voters who’ll crawl over broken glass to vote for him - blacks, Hispanics, white liberals, etc.
He has a media that will be as every bit in the bag for him in 2012 as they were in 2008.
I don’t care who our nominee is. it can be Romney, Paul or Perry. But that nominee better be focused and our overall GOP message better be on target.
Try Herman Cain. He is the one with the integrity and strength to actually lead this country in a restoration of our Constitutional Republic. Romney and Perry are Republican statists.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of echo-chamber fantasies going around here. Seems like a majority have managed to convince themselves Hussein is so weak he might not even run for re-election. The results tonight should make it clear that this country has not changed, has not moved to the right and in any noticeable way, and is as beholden to the social welfare state as ever (probably even more so). From what I see so far, this was not a very good night for the good guys. With a failed president and a crappy economy, the Dems managed to do quite well this evening in many of the big contests and on a lot of the spotlight issues.
