Sadly when the cops stood around & the 911 operators hung up they declared that they will do nothing & the only way you will stay safe from an OCCUPY LYNCH MOB is to be ready ,willing & able to use lethal force to defend yourself.
Legal? I don’t know. There would have to be some specific statute that would say they have to take your call, and then you’d actually have to have someone present the evidence and prosecute a violation of that statute. Good luck with that with this crowd of goonion self-protectors.
What it specifically means is that you are not going to get any recourse if you sue if their malfeasance results in injury or loss.
