Obama says it's "not as trendy to be an Obama supporter" today compared to '08

President Barack Obama told an audience in San Francisco Tuesday that the famous “hope” poster, popular during his 2008 campaign for president, is “kind of faded” and that it’s “not as trendy to be an Obama supporter” today as it was during his first run for the White House.

“We’ve made a lot of change, but we’ve got a lot more work to do,” he told an audience during a campaign event at the W Hotel in San Francisco, California. “And I know that I’m now a little grayer. You know, and it’s not as trendy to be an Obama supporter as it was back in 2008.”

Obama went on to say he was no longer the “new thing” and admitted that he had made some mistakes.

Yeah, that's what concerns most of the electorate. Better not to work at all. Play some golf, watch some college hoops, and don't do any more damage. Just one more year.

Abject failure has a way of doing that.

But yes, he hits the nail on the head with his apt description: trendy. If we were to define his presidency, it would be the “Trendy Presidency,” for his election was based on nothing but warm feelings, vague pronouncements, catch phrases, and a desire to impress the rest of the world about how much America has “progressed” since the Civil Rights era. Trendy decisions, like many based on a lack of substance, often end this way: with buyer’s remorse.

Likewise, the zero is not nearly as cool as he was three years ago.

You’re right...This man called 0bama is one evil sonofabitch.
0bama cares more about the waves he’ll get on the next walk to Marine One on the White House lawn than he does for America.

Barack Hussein Obama is one narcissistic bass turd. I don’t think Bill Clinton was as in love with himself as Barry is in love with himself. ‘RAT girlymen make me want to puke.

Obama went on to say he was no longer the “new thing” and admitted that he had made some mistakes.

I call BS on that. I'm willing to bet the SOB has never, ever in his life admitted he was wrong on anything.

Egomaniacal cultist. There is no room for such an imperial ruler in the US.

True enough.

I heard he was interviewed recently, and said that every decision he has made has been the right one. So, if everything he has done is right, how can he now say that he has made mistakes. Which is it????????

The perfect way to describe Obama is that he is the “pet rock” of Presidents. Like all other fads, the fad of Obama is almost, if not, completely over.
