Yeah, she did a great job in the role of the ship.

I liked Debbie Reynolds in that role much better years earlier in “The Unsinkable Molly Brown.”

In 1997’s “Titanic,” there was a scene in the lifeboat after the ship sank. Molly (Kathy Bates) stood up and said something about pulling other survivors out of the freezing water. A crewman yelled at her to shut up and sit her fat ass down, or words to that effect. Molly (Bates) sat down without saying another word.

The real Molly Brown would have grabbed an oar and knocked the crewman out of the life boat, cussing at him while swinging the oar.
