I suspect, if this keeps up (and we patriotic Americans don't lose interest) that Obama will step down and not run for re-election. In exchange for a pardon. If he does not step down then, of course, when he loses the election, he knows the next Republican president will act to prosecute him.
You can already see that the fire and interest is gone. So, I suspect he will make a move to step down in about two months, just after Christmas. Only so he and all his family and their staff can take one more holiday vacation that gets paid for by the taxpayers
