Unless you are from TX, you really know nothing about him. If he were not a conservative, he would not have been elected three times by wide margins. I am from TX and will comment that not everyone is a good debater. I will also state, that those three so called debates, were not done well and showed little about the candidates.

Been here for decades (although not born here). He was basically coronated governor when Bush-43 became prez, and has NEVER been challenged by a conservative since. That’s why he got his head handed to him in that debate and that’s why he can’t deal with Republicans who aren’t “yes-men” to him.
He also hasn’t spent time, or cared about, national or international politics and issues (except how they relate to Texas, as in EPA and open borders), which is also coming out real clear. And his A&M GPA also tells me that he’s not a fast learner. I just imagine him in debates against either Hillary or even Obama and getting his clocked cleaned on foreign policy, and believe me, they will load up on foreign policy, just to make Perry look bad.
It will be a nightmare if that guy ever gets on the national ticket.
It isn't Perry's debating skills that are on the line here...'it's his policies' toward our nations illegal alien issues... which he cannot defend to a nation who see clearly the problems of and associated with illegals...and "others" as a threat to our national security. Perry and the Texans who are supporting him created the mess and now they are screaming from the fallout of their decisions made to accomodate, recruit and enable the infilitration in your state. Close your border...arm the men guarding it to shoot and clean up the mess!
