New Romney ad against Perry's In State Tuition for illegals

No matter whose side you are on this ad is pretty stinging for Perry. Starts by asking who else agrees with Perry's in state tuition policy and shows pictures of Obama Pelosi and Reid line up with each other and then cuts to clip of Vincente Fox in broken english praising Perry for helping Mexican migrates. You can watch for yourself on link.

Wait till the ads come out that hit Mitt Remulak for Romney care. The sting will be far worse.

When will Romney and Perry take a lesson from Cain and start running against Obama? This constant feud between the two, trading the same jabs back and forth is tiring.

Two biggest issues in 2012 are repealing OCare (and general Imperial Government) and illegal immigration.

Both Romney and Perry are disqualified. Period.

I don’t know if Cain is the answer, but I hope there is somebody, either Cain or somebody else, who can rise and save us. I don’t think Palin/Christie/Trump will help us either. Maybe Daniels, Ryan or DeMint can re-consider.

Cain needs to mobilize the Black churches of Iowa. Hey, use whatever you got. Bachmann depends on it being a neighboring state and her state of birth. Romney depends on his money and his establishement Republican friends. Perry depends of people just being ignorant. Ron Paul depends on his faithful followers radical involvement. So, hey, let Cain use the Black population to his advantage. He says he can pull 30% of the Black vote from Zero. I believe him.

When you let your mouth outrun your brain in a nationally televised debate.... Bad things happen.

And eventually, Mitten’s mouth will his azz in a wringer too.

Please.

Perry is correct on the issue. Trying to paint it as a magnet is retarded.

Once someone is in Texas, and gonna stay there, Texas has a vested interest in allowing that individual to reach full earning (and therefore taxing) potential.

And to piggyback the above poster that referenced Romneycare,
wait till they turn that ‘not a career politician’ around on him by pointing out he’s not a career politician, because hes a two time loser (96,08)

Romney can't make any serious attack on Perry from the right. Perry is plausibly conservative and Romney isn't. There is no serious candidate to Perry's right who can benefit from the effort to portray Perry as a squish. Cain lacks the institutional and organizational support to compete. So does Bachmann (plus she's a loon).

The bottom line is that this ad doesn't sting. It's an in- kind contribution to the Perry general election campaign fund. Romney is helping Perry's outreach to Hispanic voters and demolishing the Democrat argument that Perry is an unelectable, fire-breathing, Tea Party extremist.

Currently it is turning into a three way fight between the good, the bad, and the ugly. They want to ignore the rising star and focus on each other but if one of them loses support because of an attack ad from the other it will tend to help the rising star. It is a very entertaining situation. One which I would not have predicted a week or two ago.

Have to admit, this is smart politics. Attacking from the Right will never hurt you in a Republican primary fight.

I just wish Perry hadn’t self-destructed in that debate. I would eagerly yet unenthusiastically vote for Mitt in the general because the Sun King has to go. But if Mitt gets in we are going to have to count on Congress to rein in his RINO impulses, and I would rather not have to worry about that.

I truly dislike the mudslinging. It’s the reality of politial campaigning, but it makes me sick.

Stop telling me how bad the other guy is. Tell me what you’re all about!

I agree... but Perry still has to win the primary, that’s the trick.

I don't think he's been fully committed to doing what it takes and it caught up to him in the debates.

Romney's a hypocrite on this issue. While he vetoed a specific in-state bill, he had a counter proposal that waved tuition entirely for MA grads in the top 25%. The legislature rejected his plan because it would benefit wealthy students the most.

“Perry is correct on the issue.”

—you come over the border from Mexico and you get in-state tuition, but if you come over the border from Oklahoma you don’t? Doesn’t sound like good policy.
