I saw him at that event & yes, he gave a great speech. He’s very personable, & passes the ‘would be fun to have a beer with’ test. People want to LIKE their president!
I think I like him best of the current candidates. But I wasn’t happy with his comments in the debate about closing gov’t agencies. He said he would do that only if they couldn’t be ‘fixed’. I think we’re long past fixing most of them & it’s time to cut, cut, cut. Herman’s been clued in on a few things, like gun rights & the right of return for Palestinians. I think we need to get him some more advisors & get him up to date on a few more topics!
My take on Cain is that it won’t take much to get him up to date on a few more topics. And it won’t take a political argument to up date him; it will take only a rational argument and I think he’ll get it immediately.
I think he’s for REAL. I sure hope so.
