Yes, give them credit. This is what we have been waiting for the moderate muslims to say since 9-11. And it took courage.

Agreed, and it's too long in coming.

In the months leading up to the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 atrocities, what I saw plenty of was:

• Sad, tearful memorials for the victims -- Understandable;
• Every TV show, including such luminaries as Suze Orman, looking to grab cheap ratings by flogging its own "9-11 Angle" -- Tacky

What I didn't see or hear in that entire ten years was one single instance of a Muslim condemning those abominations, or urging anything less than "Islam as Jihad."

While there were far too condemnations of the 9/11 terror attacks, there were a few Muslims who were very vocal in condemning them. Muhammad Ali was one of them.
