If The One’s numbers remain in the 30’s by December/January, the Dem elites will be looking to put him on his ‘intercontinental railroad’ and send him into history.
They most likely will lose the Senate, and with his approval in the tank, they most likely would lose the WH.
They will pressure him to seek early retirement (shades of LBJ). In all probability, they already have a replacement being prepared. They don't want to go down with Obama’s ship.
And so far, the GOP field is in disarray, especially with Bachmann’s and Perry's ratings drops. Thus, the Dems see no insurmountable threat coming out of the GOP field.

It is interesting to hear the collapse crazies and peak oil liberals turning on Obama and the social justice crowd with more vitriol than conservatives ever did. They don't like the Eloi/Zombies and just want to be out of the way while they die off. And anyone who tries to raid their gardens is going to die off quicker than most.
They aren't conservatives, and will never be conservatives. The biggest difference is that the crashers are earth worshipers not Christians. But they are getting out of the cities and going rural. They despise central government and international organization. They are clinging to guns, learning self sufficiency. I'm not sure what to call them but they are growing in numbers and are definitely off the liberal plantation.
As this group grows watch Obama's numbers drop.

Bad economy plus Democrats starting to bail on him and even The Daily Show with Jon Stewart increasingly critical of Obama equals rapidly falling poll numbers--ouch!

If it goes below 35% look out. He will be desperate and there is no telling what kind of executive orders he’ll start signing as the flying monkeys that surround him start to panic also.

“If hes at 36% heading into another recession like they are calling it this morning, hell quit soon, i can see him getting out of the kitchen.”
You may well be right about that. Recession, high unemployment, a terrible housing market, scandals, and skyrocketing debt plus the increasing likelihood of a Republican House and Senate, could convince the narcissist to leave office. His speeches are becoming even more strident as those failures continue mounting. He’s cracking under the strain.

Epic failure!

Maybe ...
If he can negotiate some of the perks -- like those free vacations for him and the wifie. They do love to travel.
And T-times at major country club golf courses. He does like to play golf.
And those fancy restaurant and cook-out meals with expensive foods -- they do love to eat.

Just bring up a mental picture of Boehnor and the rest of the establishment Republicans. Now that you have that picture in your mind . . . consider what the average Joe Six Pack envisions.

“I wonder where Obamas numbers would be if he didn’t have the propagandists in the media supporting him”
The media propaganda machine bears full responsibility for promoting Obama and his destructive policies. The fact that the US is in such a sad state right now is directly attributable to the media’s sychophantic and unquestionning worship of him. We need to keep calling them out on their misdeeds and hold them accountable.
