Consumer advocate and progressive liberal Ralph Nader said Thursday he will send a letter to a targeted group of 40 former university presidents, retired congressmen, progressive business leaders and civic activists and ask them to challenge President Barack Obama in 2012.
“The pitch is this: Look, take six months off from your routine, form a slate, challenge Obama in the primaries,” Nader said on Fox News.
The letter will go out in “a few days,” he said.

I don’t want a primary for Obama. I want to clobber OBAMA. But obviously if they’re rumbling so much this far out, they’re going to end up with a new candidate. Carville doubled down today, Nader. Obama is toast.
Ed Asner once said that communism would work if it was implemented by the right person. They double down on stupid at every chance.
I suggest Donald Trump. Not quite what Nader would want, but I’d love to see The Donald whack Obama around for a while without the distractions of having to even put on more than a token “campaign”.
