I pretty much agree with your comments. In the overall scheme of things though, it would bother if these things were true. I’m not a supporter so it wouldn’t cost her my support.
Your comments on Obama’s admissions are reasoned IMO. People should know who they are voting in.
This guy did not get covered very well in 2008. The media does have a lot to answer for.
The problem for me was that most of these charges were based on comments from the locals. Who are these locals? Are they Democrats? Are they union members? Are they people who were way down on their luck, looking for a small moment of fame?
Rather than pay attention to this noise, I’d rather let it blow over, and see what’s still percolating after a few months.
Whatever is of substance, I’ll evaluate that in due course.
If the NYTimes is shooting much of this down, it’s either to give this writer what he deserves, or to highlight what the Time finds real and very troublesome later on.
Another shoe might drop from the Times, in time.
