Terrorists from the Gaza Strip fired at least three Grad missiles at southern Israel early Friday morning. The Iron Dome missile interceptor was successfully employed against some of the Grads, but one missile, fired later in a second round of launchings, hit a synagogue in Ashdod at 8:15 a.m.
Three were hurt moderately, but since the morning prayers had just finished, most congregants had left the bulding.
One of the early morning missiles exploded in the vicinity of the city of Be’er Sheva. Two other missiles exploded near Ashdod. At that point, there were no reports of physical injuries or damage in the earlier attacks until 8:15 when Israel's second radio channel announced the hit on the house of prayer.
Several minutes later, a Kassam rocket was launched at southern Israel. The rocket exploded in the vicinity of the city of Ashkelon. No physical injuries or damage were reported.
Overnight, terrorists fired several Kassam rockets from the Gaza Strip. The rockets landed in open area in the Sdot Negev Regional Council. There were no reports of injuries or damages.
Also, IAF aircraft successfully targeted seven terror targets in the Gaza Strip overnight Thursday. In northern Gaza, the targets included a weapon manufacturing site and two terror activity sites. In southern Gaza, the targets included two smuggling tunnels, a terror tunnel and a terror activity site.

That “civil unrest” is nothing but street theater. Bunch of red diaper babies protesting the “social injustice” of not being able to rent a flat overlooking Zion Square or whatnot. I’m happy to say that thus far Kiryat Arba/Hebron is quiet and peaceful.

If this had happened in any other country they’d consider it an act of war and go after them full boar. Unfortunately every little attempt Israel makes to defend herself is ALWAYS seen as cuel and inhumane. I frankly am getting more than tired of it and can’t hardly wait til she takes off the gloves and once again gives them all what for! and let the chips fall where they may. Israel will survive no matter what!
Grad missiles, Samantha Powers got them out of Libya pretty quick. She will send more.

Israel is fortunate, for now, that the missiles fired at her probably don't have that much accuracy statistically, which is not to say they can't kill and maim Israelis when the animals firing them get "lucky."
The only long term solution to the rockets and missiles fired at Israel is to retake Gaza militarily. It certainly can be done, but at what cost to Israel? It seems as if the Iron Dome is disappointing, only partially effective. Is this its first practical use?

The Hamas infestation of Gaza should be forcefully ended..forever. They should be put down like the rabid beasts they are!
