As much as I LOVE seeing his approval number drop, I take no comfort in it. This election will be a huge battle and will not be close to an “easy win”. It will be a battle. It’s hard enough to knock any incumbent out, but to knock one out, like this President, will take a monumental effort.

Yes, but it has now moved into the realm of the winnable. When Obama was maintaining 50% approval numbers there was a sense of hopelessness and futility. We could pick off a senate or house seat, but we weren't going to be able to take out Obama. When having stared at the impossible for two and a half years, only taking on the extremely difficult looks like a picnic.
