Thank you Wisconsin! I am sorry they lost two seats but maybe they'll get one back next week. I hope this recall back and forth doesn't become just part of the voting process now.

The most recent leaning I've seen here in WI is that the two dem/lib/prog/pops up for recall are "safe". That is, there are not enough registered Republicans in either area to overturn a strong turnout by the enemy. So the two will probably weather the recall.

That said...the Republicans still hold a majority of seats (+1). Now, what to do with it.

For one...the "recall law" requires amendment. Only in cases of proven law breaking such as a felony conviction, should a recall be allowed. Voting on a needed measure to balance the state budget that is unpopular with the dem/lib/prog/pops, the national unions, the seiu, acorn, and the stain's regime should not be a reason to begin a recall. As an adendum to that addendum, any senator fleeing the state or the state capitol to avoid doing their job is immediately fired and fined $75,000 to be paid immediately. If the coward cannot pay the fine, they will serve one year in jail...not county prison...the state prison.

Just my ideas....

I think there is already a provision for that. There is only to be a recall for just cause. Legislation is not just cause. The process was simply abused here. And no one called them on it.
