Brit cops are not stupid. They are thinking what the LAPD thought during the Rodney King riots: "If we get out there, we will just be targets. We will not be allowed to open fire on rioters, and if we do it in self-defense we will go to jail. Time to check out that new doughnut shop on the other side of town. Call us when you're ready to give us realistic Rules of Engagement"

That sounds suspicious to me. No rioting in Muslim neighborhoods. But I am a paranoid type, anyway. Also beginning to look as if some people are choosing specific targets for destruction. I suspect that happened during the Los Angeles riots. Basically you get a crowd to attract police to one location, while the expert arsonist are sent to take the nearby target structure down. Lots of long term gangsta grievances can be settled that way.

Yes, now they are just saying Essex. I just typed what they said.
The first report was Waltham Abbey was burning then it was Sainsbury’s now Sony.

During the LA riots the police were busy protecting the firemen who were trying to prevent the entire city from burning to rubble.

But it soon became clear that BBM [Blackberry Messenger] was by far the most popular means for rioters to communicate. BlackBerry devices, cheaper and more widespread than iOS or Android smartphones, are owned by more than a third of British teens, according to a recent study. BBM — an instant message service for BlackBerry owners — is free, instantly available, one-to-many, and the authorities can’t immediately trace it. BBM users must exchange PIN numbers, which keeps their conversations private.

The Guardian got its hands on BBM messages directing rioters — blasts that are shocking in their specificity. “Everyone in edmonton enfield wood green everywhere in north link up at enfield town station at 4 o clock sharp!” reads one. Another directs looters to Oxford Circus in the heart of London: “SHOPS are gonna get smashed up so come get some (free stuff!!!)”

I wonder if the Brits give free cell phones to welfare types like we do?

Thoughts are going in several directions. A shooting by police, unemployment of the young, general dissatisfaction by the young, assorted other excuses. Nothing concrete.

This does not mean that there are no Muslim rioters in non-Muslim neighborhoods. It makes sense that the Muslims would not want any damage to THEIR stores and homes. Would not be surprised if they expect to profit from their infidel competitors being burned out.

No rioting in those neighbourhoods because there’s nothing worth looting. Quite simple really.

These are not political rioters. They are just after free stuff. It’s that simple and that disgusting.
