Pelosi will once again take the blame as she did for the last election.

BS. She knows they will back it. She’s just trying to get some last minute goodies thrown in. Don’t get me wrong, I hope the Dems don’t back it. If they do back it I hope the Republican House throws this POS out into The Potomac.

If the D’s can get away with voting no on it, they’ll do it.

Pretty amazing how much the media have kept the worthless Pelosi in the limelight since her party’s loss at the polls less than a year ago.

I can’t ever recall a House minority leader being given so much FACE time.

Obama knew they’d back it before he went on TV.

I bet it cost the last of his stumulus stash though...

This afternoon: “the White House is now waiting for House Speaker John Boehner to get behind the compromise and waiting for him to tell Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., how many Republicans he’s going to lose, and therefore, how many Democrats need to support the bill.”

Pelosi is a dead face to America.
The MSM longs for Clinton too.

I expect Pelosi to fill her face so full of Botox she'll mumble every other word.

—Yep.

“Don’t get me wrong, I hope the Dems don’t back it. If they do back it I hope the Republican House throws this POS out into The Potomac.”

—It would be hilarious if the whole thing fell apart because of a huge number of House Dems (and a small handful of R’s) voting no. Would never happen, though.

Pelosi really stepped into it now.

The MSM will be calling the Democrats "terrorists" and screaming that they are "unfit to govern". (/sarc)

Democrats from more conservative districts and Republicans from more liberal districts will provide enough votes. They would have a lot more votes if needed, but the others will get a kitchen pass to allow them to ‘take a stand’.

When the stimulus money passed, my Rep stayed in the well ready to change her vote if Pelosi needed it. Only when Pelosi had the votes did Giffords get permission to return to her seat.

Lots of these defiant stands are taken by people who would switch their votes in a heartbeat if needed.

It looks like the same Kindergarten trick is being played on us again...I guess since it worked last time.

The trick being that the Republicans cleaned Obama’s clock...so bad that the Dems are fuming. That gets the IDIOTS in the Republican Party thinking it’s a good deal, so they run out and support it. Mark my words.

...and one other way to look at it. What if Pelosi said it was a GREAT DEAL for the Dems and that the Republicans got rolled? Can’t happen...as it would kill any chances of getting it through that body.

Oh it will pass in the House with the vast majority of Dems voting yes but methinks there will be more than a small handful of Republicans voting no. Not enough to stop this thing though.

But you're right. "It would be hilarious if the whole thing fell apart because of a huge number of House Dems (and a small handful of R’s) voting no."

There is absolutely no question that they will. They'll allow a few to vote against in order to appease constituents - but you can stick a fork in the deal...it's done.

1st off...it's Reuters so it may just be a wet dream.

2nd it's Pelosi and that ain't even close to a wet dream but closer to very cold water.

I still think the Republicans in House and Senate should withold their votes until like 90% of the Dems vote, then half of the Republicans vote NO and the rest vote “Present” and LET THE LEGISLATION PASS WITH FULL DEMOCRAT SUPPORT. A sort of “Stick it in your ear.” moment.
