Kelleigh Nelson, what a kook! Hey, wasn’t she a Playboy Bunny back in the 60’s?

Friendly advice, noobie, if you’re going to post your crackpot links, you really need to learn more about HTML formatting. Few people will bother to copy & paste your link into a browser.

I’ve seen thread spamming before here at FR but mc has to be right up there at the top.

I'm not even sure if it's spam. It's more like drool, I think, or maybe snot. LOL!

Why, did Reagan ever chair a state for as left-wing a buffoon as Algore?

Nah, he just voted for the welfare state king and statist extroadinaire Franklin Delano Roosevelt 4 elections in a row over a 16 year period. Perry, hell, he was barely a Democrat for five years before he got religion and dumped Gore and that whole stinking FDR loving bunch. And you know what, Reagan dumped that crowd too eventually. I say good for both of 'em.

A West Texas conservative Democrat helping a D.C. Beltway liberal Democrat?

Yes, of course that was the year he signed up to become a democrat candidate and 4 years later he was working for Al Gore, who had an ACU rating of 9.

The man was a real dyed in the wool Democrat.

Quit comparing Reagan to Romney becoming an independent during the Reagan years, I mean Perry being anti-Reagan during the Reagan years.

You keep telling people that Perry was only a democrat for five years, that of course was five years during his time as a democrat politician, but we can assume that Perry was democrat for about 18 years.

Did it take you until 1989 to “get religion”?

Did you miss the Reagan years also, and support Democrats? Did you support Al Gore against Bush in 1988?

The man was a real dyed in the wool Democrat.

Oh yeah, all 5 years worth!

Well, I'll leave you to your theories, there's just not much in the way of logic or common sense to any of it. I guess what it all boils down to is that you don't care much for Rick Perry. Hot damn, how about that! LOL!

Hey, tell me something, are you registered to vote in one of the 50 states? Which one, and what year was it the first time you ever voted in a Presidential election?

You got me there. I didn’t know that Reagan supported FDR. I know that Coolidge was Reagan’s favorite President. But, no way in hell will I ever vote for anyone named Ronald Reagan again!
Seriously, after Reagan’s successful years, it’s shocking to me that a guy like Perry would still be a Democrat, in Texas, as late as 1990! And be out there raising the banner for leftists such as Algore.

Me neither, we'd have to vote for that prissy little tutu-wearing Ron Jr. Now, Michael Reagan, him I could vote for!

As for Perry, read post #56. West Texas Democrats were big on Reagan in the 80's.

Why would you want all of that personal information?

In 1984 Reagan carried Texas by 64%, that was the same year that the democrat party had their 34 year old choice Perry, run for the state legislature, four years later he signed up to lead the Texas efforts for Al Gore.

So I can steal your credit cards.

Personal info, what a hoot! The state you vote in? The year of the first Presidential election you voted in? Man, you’re paranoid.

I don’t care, don’t tell me. For all I know you’re not even a US citizen! LOL!

Unless you know something different, Perry was a democrat from 1971 to 1989, that is a lot longer than five years, you are confusing the start time as the year that the democrats came to Perry to run for office.

Even the greats weren’t always that way.

Reagan was a New Deal Democrat. He joked that he had probably become a Democrat by birth, given that his father, Jack, was so devoted to the Democratic Party. The younger Reagan cast his first presidential vote in 1932 for Franklin Roosevelt, and did so again in the succeeding three presidential contests. His faith in FDR remained undimmed even after World War II, when he called himself “a New Dealer to the core.” He summarized his views in this way: “I thought government could solve all our postwar problems just as it had ended the Depression and won the war. I didn’t trust big business. I thought government, not private companies, should own our big public utilities; if there wasn’t enough housing to shelter the American people, I thought government should build it; if we needed better medical care, the answer was socialized medicine.” When his brother, Moon, became a Republican and argued with his sibling, the younger Reagan concluded “he was just spouting Republican propaganda.”

We can assume that Perry registered when he came of voting age, supposedly he comes from a political background and he clearly has been active in politics.

And you really can lay off the Romney like hammering on Reagan.

Rick Perry became a leader in not only the New Deal Democrat party, but the far more radical, far more leftist, post 1960s, post abortion, post homosexual agenda, post radical feminism, even post Reagan Democrat party.

That my friend is a whole new ball of wax, no matter what you and Mitt Romney say about Reagan.
