I live in Wisconsin. I have no problems with e verify.

Whatever we supposedly might “lose”in jobs we will make up in lower taxes from having to provide less social services to illegal immigrants.

Yes, and it would be true everywhere. The cost associated with illegal immigrants and their offspring far outweigh any cost savings achieved by those in the agriculture sector who use their labor. The problem is that the full costs of illegal immigrant labor is borne by the taxpayer and not the farmer (yes, I know the farmer pays taxes too).

Yes we might pay a small amount more for some agricultural products but the other benefits would be great. This is what the farmers don't understand or don't want to understand. And the importation of cheap illegal labor has probably let the farmer make a lot of bad decisions by not substituting capital for labor in a number of cases.
