“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more and the LOVE every one of you has for each other is increasing. 2 Thes 1:3

Whoever wrote the latest presidential screed should resign or at least be held back from middle school. It wasn’t so much a speech as it was a list of clichés desperately in search of a thought. Comparing himself to Ronald Reagan was a close comparison he only overshot by one president. Ok we get it people who fly in corporate jets provided by their companies should be punished. If they are Oil execs riding in corporate jets they should be executed. How many times has this regime used the corporate jet foil to fire up their base, wasn’t that first used by him to vilify those evil auto industry execs so he could take away their companies? Speaking of which, why isn’t GM and Chrysler sharing any sacrifice? We got the same old Stalinist drivel to hide the fact he has absolutely destroyed the economy.

Now we are seeing the same old tired formula of how all the Conservatives want to starve grandma and kill puppies while the commiecrats have only the purist of thoughts. Of course according to the formula the socialist Repubs begin to get nervous believing the phony polls and more phony pundiots that they will lose the next election as bad as the libs did this time. We thought we had a leader in Boehner only to find he was a deal maker who would rather play the game rather than fight in the face of these forces. Once again we cower in fear of being blamed for standing by our convictions rather than not letting the commies using another crisis to further their agenda.

This crisis was caused by Barney Frank and company by letting Fannie and Freddie commit untold billions in fraud so they could funnel cash to the DNC. This DNC cash machine was allowed to issue worthless loans by not allowing the underwriting of loans to people who had no income or methods of ever paying the loans which were backed by the American taxpayer. These cash machines paid multi-million dollar bonuses to the entire company that made Wall Street envious, measured by how many loans they could write regardless of the worthiness of the loans. This gave crooks such as Jamie Gorelick of 911 fame, multi-million dollar bonuses to shovel as much as that worthless paper in one door and out to the banks as they were provided cover by Moody’s rating service. Jamie Gorelick made $40 million in 5 years although we don’t know if she flew in any evil corporate jets. When the value of these loans was discovered this entire Ponzi scheme collapsed bringing Wall Street and the US economy down with it. This DC corruption cost us taxpayers nearly a trillion dollars and nobody was seriously punished, they simply had to return some of their cash.

This collapse of course was hidden by the commiestablishmedia who blamed it all on evil George Bush while they painted their messiah as the savior of the economy with his godlike image. While they were claiming he was making and saving jobs, he destroyed Wall Street by picking winners and losers through his Tarp program he helped push through which was a failure, only to be followed by porkulus which was a payoff to the unions and other corrupt friends only to outdo himself by stealing the Auto industry bondholders and giving their money to the unions. This of course wasn’t enough as he closed down the oil exploration industry driving the cost of oil through the roof just like he promised he would and is doing the same to the electric power industry as he chases his fairy tale “clean green” energy.

These 60s commie ideas has put the American economy on its deathbed only to be cared for by the new DeathCare bill he and Nancy put in place to drive the final nail into our coffin. After all of that, he gets onto the TV for the 300th time to lecture Repubs about if you break it you own it. Pretty much like totaling your car around a tree and when the tow truck tries to unwrap it and scratches the paint, you hand him the bill for the car. No, the tow truck didn’t cause the wreck and neither does not raising the debt limit make the debt to payment ratio any better it simply makes it worse. If they are still arguing on Aug 3rd or 4th the sun will still come up and America will still be in the exact same shape it is in today, out of money with a Marxist ideologue in the White House. There will only be decisions to make for a change of whether to pay for the hundred thousand extra employees who provide the grants for scientists to prove man is causing the demise of the purple flecked frog or the humpback lizard. The rest of us wouldn’t even notice except for the reporters trying to prove the Rapture just occurred beause some school kids aren’t able to get into the Airplane museum, oh the humanity!

The Repubs should refuse to play the DC two step and let Dirtbag Reid vote down bill after bill until they get their precious shutdown and try to blame Armageddon on the Repubs. If it is going to happen let’s make this argument now to bring the people’s attention to this out of control gummit we are living under. Let’s argue this point while the bloated behemoth is shut down and see if most people even notice anything different in their lives. You know the employees in the end won’t lose a penny and as always the only one taking it on the chin will be the taxpayer. Let’s have the debate and let him vilify corporate jets and oil companies who actually made a profit like he’s been doing from day one.

While were having these debates lets remind the American people why we are in this position and how they have destroyed every piece of our economy. While we are talking about what we can and can’t cut lets mention why the economy needs an abundant and low priced energy supply. Let’s remind them when you shut down millions of jobs in the energy industry it’s going to eliminate millions more in support and complimentary industries like transportation and manufacturing as well as farming. When we are being called Nazis and terrorists we can remind the American people there are reasons companies can’t afford to hire when they know they are going to pay higher taxes on ObamaCare or face penalties and punishment. When they say the Repubs are heartless for sacrificing school loans for their corporate fat cats, they can ask how those corporations can provide jobs when his EPA is doing everything they can to close them down and skyrocket water prices in your communities or stop farmers from producing food for your families.

Right now the stage is set and it is critical the Repubs repeat the reasons we are in the crisis we are in. We are the ones who have been warning if you pass these wealth transfer bills there won’t be any wealth left to transfer which would lead to a debt crisis. We are the ones who demanded an audit and reform of Fannie and Freddie or there could be a severe crash which would risk the taxpayers of the US. We were called racists, homophobes and every other name the libs use to make us back down and agree…er…compromise to their demands. We have been right and they have created this disaster so how about once we not shrink to their tactics and let them know who the commie tyrants are and we are willing to risk the election to stand up to their antics for once. That would be a breath of fresh air and the next election would be a landslide of revolutionary proportions. The commies have been exposed and will be for eighteen more months and then we will have patriots in charge to finally turn these America hating 60’s marxist radicals out to the ash heap where they belong. America will then begin the long road back to Freedom.

Pray for America

C-SPAN

Speaking of which, did anyone watch the coverage of the House debate last night? Incredible contrast between the firebrand TEApublicans and the outraged nail-spitting spendRATs.

Some pretty good WWF Smackdown action from the Senate Republicans as well.

Why this isn't repeated over and over again is beyond me.

Good morning, AB.
Think I’ve got this debt ceiling thing figured out.

Congress voted a debt ceiling in order to protect taxpayers from Congress overspending the taxpayers’ money.
Congress decided that Congress really doesn’t want to stop overspending the taxpayers’ money, so Congress wants the debt ceiling raised.
Congress will now tax the taxpayers more tax money so that Congress can raise the debt ceiling, thereby protecting the taxpayer from the Congress that will continue to overspend even more of the taxpayers’ money.

Who said this was complicated?

Terrific write up BRAy!

“The Repubs should refuse to play the DC two step and let Dirtbag Reid vote down bill after bill until they get their precious shutdown and try to blame Armageddon on the Repubs. “

This is already affecting Obozo’s poll numbers and his falling support among even Blacks-—down to 50 points from over 77 just not so long ago. It was good for Boehner to keep this Kabuki dance going for several weeks...it kept the ball in play and the voters heard it again and again..it was the only way we could get this across by actually demonstrating Reid’s intransigence.

thanks for the thread once again AB much appreciated. Looks like the DBM is in full campaign mode once again bringing out the plouffester, Chuck U and all the other big time ratsters, could be interesting.
Just when you think bray’s posts can't get any better...they do.!!
Here's just a few of his words of wisdom, have to be repeated.
OK we get it ..punish those who ride in corp jets...if they are oil execs should be executed.....conservatives wanting to starve grandma and kill puppies....while commiecrats have only the purist of intentions.
I could go on but you can read it yourself and it only gets better.
Last week I drove my 2,000 miles and had the opportunity to listen to all the talk show hosts in-depth.We truly do have an alternative media and its here, on talk radio with a few TV stations and newspapers that get it as well. Our message is being heard. One of the best messages IMHO is the one cent solution fathered by tea party/conservatives Sen.Rand Paul Rep. Connie Mack and promoted by rock star talk guy Sean Hannity.
Its easy to understand. Just stop the madness of upping the budget 7.5% every year and instead cut it 1% for 7-10 years and we have a balanced budget.
You can read all about it and sign up as I did if you care its here.

Re the economy of the US, a side note that the democrat-media complex will not publish - the Canadian dollar is now worth $1.05US. The value of our dollar is melting away. How does that work with our import economy!!!

Paychecks have not gone up (and neither has inflation, so they say! Hah! More lies!) and jobs just continue to disappear.

I see more and more empty stores and signs on office buildings of Space to Let. But, oh no, drilling for oil or natural gas is bad. Ignore the fact that our country’s economy is based on plentiful cheap energy and on importing so much of what we use in our daily life.

I grieve for our country and pray for the continued strength of the “tea party” congressmen who are trying their best to reverse our downward trend.

I am relieved to see someone who is understanding the strategy, since I have heard about all I care to about how stupid and weak Boehner is. (If anyone starts that here again today, I will find somewhere else to occupy my time, as I don’t need any more of what I have heard on radio, twitter, and other sites for the last week).

It is. But the DNC wing of the media is only going to play the soundbites of spittle-spewing Donks forcasting TEA Party induced Armageddon.

To: maica; All

I’m going to go out on a limb and perhaps anger some of my fellow FReepers by advocating the RINO side for a moment. I think we are altogether too hard on Jon Boehner and really need to look at the political side for a moment. The single biggest problem for our side is we only control the House. We cannot have our way with this important but lonely political body as long as the democrats control the Senate and White House. However, if we are patient, we have a golden opportunity. This means biting the bullet and putting up with RINOs, half-measures, and yes, for now letting Obama “win”.

I think we can all agree that the economy is in shambles. The overall question for Americans is what we can do to get it going again. Forget why or how it got this way for a moment.

Now, I think we all agree that Obama owns this economy. Yet we’ve seen it time and again, how they still try to blame Bush. But now if they “win” on the budget this week, they will of course really own it. And the public will at least see that, looking up occasionally from their American Idol and summer fun pastimes.

Does anyone here believe the budget deal that the RINOs and democrats are proposing will solve our economic problems? If Obama gets his way and they have the debt ceiling off the table until after the election, then now this compromise damn well better work, in the eyes of the public. And let me tell you one little secret the media will not. The American people want a balanced budget. They understand that you cannot spend more than you earn. It really is a simple concept. Now, will they accept the class warfare arguments that the democrats and Obama are using to get the “rich” to pay more taxes? I don’t think so. Given the above spending analogy, the people want a balanced budget and any fool can see we spend too much. We don’t need a second job to bring in more money because we spend too much. The answer is to cut spending.

In my opinion, the democrats and Obama still do not get it. They cannot fix the economy UNTIL they really cut spending. All rhetoric aside, their ideas will NOT get the country back on its feet. The single biggest thing of course is Obamacare. Businesses are not growing because they expect one whale of a hit when that monstrosity starts.

Come next year, even the biggest voting block of independents will see this. There is only one way to get rid of Obamacare and get the economy back on its feet, and that is to fire Obama and the democrats.

So let the democrats enjoy their win. Let Obama think he is a superstar and the driveby media paint him as the Great Compromiser. Because you and I know one important fact. The economy is not going to improve until he is gone.

I sell antiques and collectibles on eBay, and it occurred to me several weeks ago to offer international shipping on everything I sell, not just select items.

I am increasingly shipping to foreign countries that would never have bought from the US due to the exchange rate several years ago. I am even shipping to Australia.

I always get a kick out of Jennifer Granholm. She deserves to be on Obama's re-election campaign payroll. I predict we'll here about the desperate plight of Michigan, and how only TOTUS and massive federal funds can save them.
